I am putting together a new gun and scope Combo, 22" barrel, ABolt II .308 and 3x12x56 Burris euro diamond. I want stainless and as low as possible. What are you running and would you suggest?

Just a thought, and a personal preference but stainless rings on a black scope really stick out to me. I would use leupold rings, not much better than those. Nice rifle BTW, I'm a big a bolt fan

X 2 for Talley Lightweight. Mediums would probably work.

I'd go either Talley lightweights or Leupold dual dovetails.

I agree with black.

I just bought the same gun. I'm either going with talley, Burris, or Leupold. I don't like rails or one piece mounts.
If you go talley, you will need high, mediums will not work on a 56mm.

The only advantage of Talley Lightweights is weight. That rig is not one where I would be concerned about a couple more ounces. it's already far from a lightweight. Leupold dual dovetails are stronger than the Taley LW if you don't like the idea of a rail and tactical rings.

Thanks for all the responses fellas. I have leupold dual on my other Abolt. I like the cleaner look as opposed to a rail. I'm not opposed to black, I just want something that won't rust. I have never had DNZ mounts they seem to be solid looking though.

S&K makes nice real stainless, not silver,rings/bases. I put them on any gun I plan to keep.

Weaver mount Burris Signature Rings

Picatinny = a standardized spacing copy of the old Weaver system.

Weaver/Picatinny is what I like

I just purchased the dnz one piece mount, and I am very impressed. Walmart.com has them on sale
