The Marshall County Bowhunters are having a benefit 3D archery tournament Saturday and Sunday to help Shawn Brice, whose family lost their home in a fire. The shoot will be at the range at 984 Lane Switch Road, Albertville. The cost to shoot is $15 for adults, $10 for ages 12-15 and free for under 8. All proceeds will go to the Brice family. People can shoot between 8:00 and 1:00 both days. Concessions will be available. The course includes 20 3D animal targets. Had a ball shooting with AMB, his buddy Heath and R.L. Foster and his friends at the shoot Saturday. Had been years since I'd done this. It makes you bear down and shoot better when you're with good shots.  AMB bears down. He shot a 200 on 20 targets.  Heath pulls arrows.  They had a gator.  Mine was the flyer. I think I would have found deer but might have had to get Idahomike to help. Lol.

Pretty cool. I gotta get up with you one of these days. I hunted in Iowa with RL in 99 and 2000. He's got Kansas openings that are mighty tempting this year. If I don't make it this year I'm going in next year or 2. Love to know where you hunting with him.
