When I cast it it sounds like I am casting a backlash, kind of a whpping sound every time the spool goes around. It sounds this way even if I remove all the line and spin the spool by hand. Any thoughts? Of the 4 new Curado I have this one does it every cast another does it occasionally and the other two never make a sound. I

riverrat OP 10 point Joined: Dec 2002 Posts: 3,798 ......	Pull the left side off and check and make sure the spool bearing retainer clip is fully seated. I've had a few recently that was doing the same thing and that was the problem. If that doesn't fix it let me know and we'll try other options.
