Yes I will, but I will say that corn fattens and slicks a deer up more than any greenfield "I've" ever planted. People who say corn is not good for deer are just wrong. It's obvious by the evolution of pictures on my cameras that bucks and does look better toward the end of deer season because of my corn feeding. So if you have adequate browse I really don't think you'd have to plant green fields. I plant mine for the turkeys as much as deer.
If we ever go to one buck a year limit, I won't do anything.

Which one is more beneficial to the widest variety of animals?
Corn or greenfield?

The best of all worlds...plant corn/soybean fields just for deer, cut some of the middle rows in the fall and plant you a green field.

I might hunt a food plot twice a year and that's mostly when my daughter goes with me. I wouldn't care if we didn't plant food plots and I won't be feeding.

Corn is not a magic fairy dust. Deer WILL NOT walk from miles around to eat it. They will stop by and snag a bite or two and move on.

I'd suggest putting corn feeders in or around a food plot. They will be coming to your food plots anyway and they will also have the draw of the corn.

Had 1/2 acre of corn last year, as long as there was corn there, there were deer there, almost every day, in the daylight. When all the corn was gone that dropped off quite a bit, but they still came to the Greenfield next to it some.....this year I planted the whole acre inn green stuff and had a feeder up over the hill 250 yards away. No deer at the feeder un the daylight, according to pics. Saw deer at the Greenfield about the same rate as last year, in the daylight. I'm gona plant corn this year, just more of it, and a acre Greenfield, and leave the feeder off. I think this will give me my best chance at a good one and keep me seeing deer every day.

No to both. I wont use bait and I wont cultivate food plots.

We do have two fields on our lease that the property owner cuts a couple times a year but there is no "cultivation" going on.

Another thing I wont do do is tell someone else how to manage their property.

Our green fields were ate down to the ground this year even with people feeding corn.I think the spring/summer planting is great,in my experience deer are attracted to anything fertilized, they love the extra sweetness/tenderness of fresh growth.

I hunt in south GA where corn is legal and we still plant plenty of plots. We actually very rarely put out corn during the season, but it's nice to at least have multiple options.

You get more bang for your buck by planting rather than buying feed. So I'll continue to plant and maybe put out a feeder or two that get filled only occasionally.

Yes , we will plant food plots and feed. We have 4 permanent gravity feeders that we feed protein(spring) and corn(fall). We are trying to hold our deer on the property, especially does , the bucks will be around in January if we keep the does there. A biologist once told me that a deer must consume a certain amount of browse after eating acorns/corn. Our land is changing from thick uncut pines to some nice size clear cuts. The deer should benefit from the new browse that will be generated in the cuts but we will definitely plant our plots also. I think our deer will multiply and get larger, not because of the feed but because of the new browse that we have.

Probably feeder only just shoot one or two deer and be done with it. Just so I don't have to deal with the pressure on public land or checking in during
rifle season. By the time I check out with a deer on some days and get the deer dressed the meat is not fresh.
