We spend a lot of $ on plots. To be competitive we will have to feed - I saw that this year with a lot of corn on the ground on neighboring property. It works best to buy nice feeders and do it year round. Not sure we will do both. It sure will save a lot of work,

Yes we will. Deer need other nutrition and like a variety of choices. Our acorns are basically nonexistent due to being cleared. We need all the help we can get

If you don't do both the neighbors will definitely keep all the deer if they do.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

I enjoy planting during spring and summer for deer and turkeys almost as much as hunting.

I love lobster but I can get tired of it. Deer are like us in that they like a varied diet. I will still continue to plant a food plot.

Why is it a competition?

Sure. I plant mainly for the enjoyment of seeing something grow. Now spring planting can be a headache sometimes though. I still love riding the tractor and turning that dirt. It's just something I do.

It be's that way sometimes.

Yes. This was the first year I ever fed during the season.

Based on camera activity, it is not a magic bullet.

Food plots were still used at a high rate. If you HAD to chose one...plant the plots and forget the feeding.

I would. Corn has very little nutritional value for deer. If you couldn't plant food plots, I would have a full time gravity feeder filled with protein pellets.

I would still plant food plots if it were illegal to hunt over them.
