I'm gonna be doing a lot of squirrel hunting and scouting this month. Looking at a new club with my buddy. Is there a good GPS app to log stuff in like rubs, scrapes, etc? It'd be nice if it had topo maps and satellite images as well.
Thanks.

Antler Insanity is pretty good. I didn't like Scoutlook after they changed it, couldn't figure it out.

For Android or iOS?
I like Trimble GPS Hunt for iOS. A friend has Locus Map for Android and it was pretty good.

I use GAIA GPS. And have for a while. It's Works great on my iPhone. Free version or you can buy the full version for $20. I did and it has been the best move. It don't need cell service cause it runs off satellite.
I would rather be tried by 12, than carried by 6.

I use scoutlook, it's a great app X2 x3 Scoutlook is good IMO. My favorite is Topmaps+. You can download topo maps and satellite maps for use when you have no signal. I think it's $12. You can put pins down where you want and record routes. You can send these to your friends that have the app also.

OnX hunt recon is the most useful one I've seen OnX is also the one you can buy the package that taps into the mapping office and you get the property lines and owners info overlaid . Very useful.

Sounds good. Have not heard of this one. Im in it now. Keep in mind it's only as accurate as the folks at the mapping office have it drawn. If it's drawn/plotted correct, it's dang close when you're out on the ground. Very useful for running lines and finding corners as well as keeping you where you're supposed to be while hunting.
