Congrats! Sounds like he does better guiding himself. TRUTH!!!! His first 8pt I watched for several afternoons and made him and his younger brother draw straws for that stand. The second 8pt had been showing up every afternoon in a plot that his brother was hunting and it was my intentions for his brother to shoot it, but he showed up 3/4 mile down the bottom in another plot chasing a doe and his lucky butt shoots him! The last one a 7pt was all him, it was his last weekend to hunt and my sister wanted a deer to put in the freezer so I told him to use his on judgment and shoot one of his choice. He let two 5pts and a little 4pt plus another wide 4pt walk and right at dark he shot the 7pt as he was about to leave the field. This year was definitely a good year for him, shooting 6 deer. His longest shot was 210 yards and his closest was 20 yards.
