What's yalls favorite crystal pot call? Thinking about getting one for a different sound option but I don't want junk. I've never ran a crystal. Preferably custom call makers

When I called to order one I narrowed it to the Sister or Crystal Mistress. David said he actually likes the sister better and that's what he totes now, it just hasn't won awards like the mistress. Same design just different woods. Both are the same price, you can't go wrong with either one.

Our resident expert caller TWinters tried it out yesterday and gave it his stamp of approval , that's good enough for me. BTW, he can flat use a friction call!

No. I think Stony's handle is wareagle22 or something close to that. His calls are under the name Fatal Attraxion unless it's been changed.

Yep, that's me. Lyle Gilbert owns Houndstooth Game Calls and he is on here as well. He makes a fine pot call and REALLY good mouth calls.

Not to hyjack this thread but I'm in the market for a custom pot call also. I'm a probably order one from either or both fatal atrraction and houndstooth. I also been reading up on LightsOut calls also. Anybody use one of these?

Guys at the office gave me a crystal pot call for Christmas from Stony. Scratched it this week and it really sounds good. Actually mine is glass.

I've never had a crystal call. I've got an older Knight and Hale Ol' Yeller and a Cody Envy glass. Add a Lynch foolproof box and 2 or 3 Houndstooth mouth calls and that's what's in my vest.

Stony is a class act! He's a dang good friend aswell there's not many call makers out there I trust and talk to behind the scenes on figuring something out or just chat with! Stony is one of those guys to me and I appreciate that! I know this you won't go wrong buying one of his calls or one of mine your buying a call that has meaning, heart, and soul laced with a few cuss words at times! I use the Halloran Crystal Mistress and it sounds great. Picked up some mouth calls from Lyle at a hunting expo in.Montgomery and I can say, without a doubt, they are the best I've used. I'd been using mostly Woodhaven but they changed tape or something and they don't last long, at all.

Yeah, I hate their new tape. I keep a call in my moth literally 4-5 hours (Longer if I am just running errands) but if you do that with a lot of the woodhaven's they will fall apart. I bought a red zone (I think is the name) pack (three calls for like $30 or something) and two of the calls fell apart and then I called and had them replaced and one of the replacements fell apart as well. I will say that the customer service was great but still.

Another note is that woodhaven mouth calls also take a lot of air to make the reeds move so may not be the best calls for newer guys.

I have wanted that Crystal Mistress for a long time.I'd like to get one but I would like to get Soooo many!

I am real excited about the Lonnie Sneeds that I will be getting for sure.

Turkey hunting is way heavier on my wallet than deer hunting is.
