Zdk22 hooked me up with s McPherson Edge left hand bow. It's 10 years old but it shoots like a freaking dart. Sounds like s .22 rifle when it hits the target. I was right handed for years but an eye problem made me go southpaw. Been shooting a recurve. This is my first left hand wheel bow. Draw is just a hair long but I'm going to go see Larry Odell and see if he can help with that. I can live with it if he can't. Gonna look like I just stepped out of 2006 when I hit the woods in October. Want to hunt the WMAs on non-gun days. AMB and JDBowhunter are my heroes.

Congrats man, I love bow huntin! Even though I am out with the cheater stick today.. I'm not sure if you were talking about me but I assure you I don't need to be your hero. I hunt way to much and don't kill deer near big enough.. Huntin public land ain't for the faint of heart.

Congrats on the bow. I use the rifle some times but theres just nothing like that feeling I have with the bow in my hand.

Every time you walk out the door to go hunting grab the bow instead of the rifle. Scouting and full rubber boots will be the key to your success. Good luck.

Rubber boots without holes in them... Mine leak... Lol

If you hunt a place that floods a lot I would buy waders

I'm glad you like it. It's already broke in. That bow has killed more stuff than small pox

Those Montecs shoot same point of impact as field points too. Hadn't tried the Simmons yet.

Montecs are ok , but you have to sharpen them. I prefer Slick Tricks. THEy blow a hole in a deer ! Hitting a deer with a Simmons landshark is like hitting it with an axe !

Gonna buy me some slick tricks. Buddy of mine blew holes in deer with it this year.

I have considered swaping to slick tricks. But it's hard to fix something that ain't broke. The Swhackers have been good for me.

Go to their website and look at the holes they put in a deer. Looks like a shotgun slug hole !
