What are the best hunting clubs around montgomery. I joined one in Greenville but I don't see much activity there. Any advice or connections would be great

My best advice to you is to look east or west. There are several good clubs in bullock county and Macon and lowndes as well. For a real good one you better be ready to spend some money. Montgomery county such as south Montgomery is mostly privately owned. There are a few club s here and there but again I hope you have deep pockets.

Call Thomas Calhoun at the Troy Sports Shop, 334-566-0022 and see if they have any openings with the Montgomery Hunting Club.

Hang in there. Butler co gets right in January. Take off about 10 days from Jan 23 through early Feb. Post pics and thank me later!

I am a current member of the Montgomery Hunting club. We are located about 13 miles north of Troy about 4 miles or so off the HWY 231. The dues are $2100. We have over 80+ stands and/or plots on 4600 acres all joined together with a very good road system. We have a camp house with kitchen, covered deck huge common area and sleeps over 30+ people in either a bunk room and we also currently have 2 family rooms and 3 more family rooms currently being built. Hunting areas range from planted pines, hardwoods, over 6 miles of power lines, food plots, creeks, and clearcuts. We are a mature buck quality management club and rules do apply. As stated above, contact Thomas Calhoun above, he is the President of the Club.

Further on the Conecuh River Post. Total of 20 members for 2016-2017 season. He just posted the club on AFOA 3 days ago and has a link to Facebook page with a # of photos of several nice bucks. The mature Hardwoods are a total of 1500 acres of the 4,500 acres fronting the river as it runs through the property.
