Finally!! She came out about 10 and walked directly under my stand and actually had to let her ease by to get a good shot. She was quartered away and I drilled her at about 10 yards!! I was shaking so bad that I pulled the shot but I knew I'd hit her good. Took about 60 yards to get on good blood but when I did it was easy tracking even though she went probably 350 yards.. I tell you, those wasp Jack hammers make a nasty wound!! Not my biggest but at roughly 125 pounds I'm proud of her and she'll make for some good eating

Thanks guys! I practice regularly but nothing prepares you for when your heart is pounding, shaking like a leaf and try to keep your breathing in check.. She was so close that I knew she was going to bust me, especially since I was only about 14 feet up, but I settled down and waited to draw and when she gave me a shot I took it. I'm more proud of this deer than any others I've taken.. Its funny, I can't wait to teach my son to hunt but I think he helped me out on this one because he has taught me patience and without that I probably would have given up on bowhunting this year already.

Could someone help me post a few pics? I don't have photo bucket and not too tech savvy anyways..

Congratulations ! Nothing like bowhunting, I would honestly rather kill a doe with my bow than a 140 inch buck with a gun.

Would have been a good one in a couple of years. LOL. Seriously though congratulations on your first bow kill. May there be many more in your future.
