Is it normal for the serving under/around the D-loop to separate? I had my wife take my bow to the shop last week for this and it was supposedly fixed but was told that it was normal. Was looking at my bow today in the stand and once again the serving has separated in the same spot.

This is a brand new bow basically, bought Nov 21 and has not been shot a whole lot since I have been hunting with it since Thanksgiving day. It is a ABB premium string that came on it from the factory.

I take it that I need to take it to the bow shop and get a little irate with them; this is a $1000 bow and this dang sure isn't acceptable in my mind.

...where is Shaw on this thread? Look 3 posts above yours. Most factory strings are better than they used to be with regards to stretching and creeping, but most all still have serving issues.

You are correct sir, PSE Decree. I took the D-loop off since it has my nocking point set too high and then using my fingers I got the serving to go back together, then tied a new D-loop making sure that my arrow was level with the marking on the riser. Went out with a flashlight last night and checked the zero on my 20yd pin and then shot about 20 arrows to see if there was any separation; so far so good, will shoot some more today to see how it goes.
If you look at ABB's website they want $120 for this string; REALLY?? for something that has to be redone on a bow that is only a month and half old!
Yeah I'm going to have to break down and get a better string but it will have to wait since my truck slung a rod.

Well just shot another 20 arrows and the serving is starting to separate again. Don't know if I should take it and have them re-serve it or just go hunt this afternoon.
