Serious question.....

How many of you have stood in line for t shirts today?

I have ONE 2010 Tshirt that I had purchased for me.

I just went to the dicks here in Alabaster and the line was crazy.

I have just never understood he urgency for gear that will be available everywhere.

I do not own a SEC Championship or NC shirt.
I own one BAMA shirt that I wear during most games.

Took our son to the AU-Oregon game. The shirts and caps were dogass ugly and overpriced. I still have the two soda cups from the game and our tickets.

I got a t-shirt for Christmas that year with some kind of "national champs" design on it that looked like a Picasso painting done by a drunk donkey. More is not always better. And yet people stand in line for that crap and then parade around in it "because I'm a real fan!"

Eh, whatever. A lot of it looks incredibly hideous.

Never owned a championship shirt or anything else. I don't think I have owned an Alabama tee shirt in over 20 years.

I own a single national championship shirt that was given to me by my wife. It was always too small and I don't recall ever wearing it. I would though.

There is nothing wrong about wearing 'championship gear'. It seems somewhat silly to stand in line at midnight to buy it, but if that is your thing...

My 16 and 14 year olds went out last night and got shirts. It was a big deal to them so i let them go. I have taken them in years past as well. I personally dont even own an Alabama shirt.

The shirts I never understood are the ones about a single game victory. I see people buying them after a game.

I have a couple of Alabama golf shirts I wear to games and a fleece pull over for the same thing. But, I am not one to walk around wearing team gear if I am not going to a game.

I also think it is silly for an adult to wear a college football jersey for any reason.

I agree with y'all for a grown man, but I've seen some nice looking wimmens in one with some tights on underneath!

And yes, this championship crap will be around ALL YEAR, maybe more. I'll pick some up this summer at a reduced rate.

I wouldn't go stand in line if they were paying me to take 10 of them. I have one Bama T shirt that I never wear and a red Bama windbreaker that I wear to a game on occasion if it's cool.

I did sign on to Bama Fever today and bought my two boys this Bama hat. They were throwing a fit for one and their momma told me to make it happen. $70 for two hats.... sheesh.

I'll probably get some grief over this, but...

I have haven't own or worn a piece of Alabama gear since I was a kid. Born and raised in Alabama, being a lifelong Alabama fan and knowing the history of the program, wearing the gear just seems corny.

I'm not a judgmental person, and I don't honestly feel this way, and I know it's illogical, but subconsciously, when I see someone in Alabama gear, the first thought that comes to my head is: "Redneck." Same for someone wearing camouflage gear out in public unless they are actually on a hunting trip or in the military.

We were in Daphne last night eating at Boudreaux's before the game and there was a guy in there wearing an Alabama hat, shirt and jacket. I walked up to him as we left and asked who he was going to be pulling for tonight... grin He thought I was serious.

Never, don't own any championship gear. I'm like Irishguy. I never wear AL gear, just seems cheeseball to me to run around in college football attire. I have a collared shirt and a windbreaker that are crimson and have the A on them...don't think I've ever wore either of them.

We just finished printing 13,000 crimson National Championship shirts. Preprinted about 5,000 black championship shirts and we'll continue to do orders for the next couple of weeks probably. Also embroidering 1500 of the hats BC posted. Another printer we work with printed 7,000 national championship shirts last night. That doesn't include the printer in Birmingham. We call it the Saban Stimulus Package. LOL!

Was in what some would consider an upscale restaurant Sunday night. Some men in ties and jackets, others in dress slacks and sport coats. Women dressed nicely. This wasn't a burger or pizza joint.

Dude sitting there at a table with team clothing on and a cap. Far as I could see he was the only guy in the entire place wearing a baseball cap.

Guess he felt comfortable. He looked out of place. Removing the cap would have been better. Maybe he had psoriasis or something.
