Yall do have a pretty place. I grew up checking cotton on it. I can remember when all your pines were soybean and cotton fields. Every time I pass by I admire how neat yall keep it! Checking cotton? I grew up picking cotton outa one of those fields. For .02 per pound when I was in elementary school. Top that! Possum Creek has great deer hunting, but turkey hunting is real lousy. They don't need anymore turkey hunters.

The Suttle community sure was neat back in the day. Mr Freeman (the elder freeman) was a southern gentleman and planter. The gin and the store were also neat. Now it's all gone.

The Suttle community sure was neat back in the day. Mr Freeman (the elder freeman) was a southern gentleman and planter. The gin and the store were also neat. Now it's all gone. They also had a dairy, hog operation, and pecan orchards to go with all the beef cattle and row crops. And the Cummings estate was almost as big. And I used to get a free hunting permit to both places. Those days are sure gone forever. It makes me sad just to ride thru there on 14. I usually just avoid it.
