are the ones that come with archery accessories? Like to install sights, quivers, etc. I bought some 10-24, but I'm thinking they are finer thread than that?....maybe 10-32? I'm looking for some around 1-1/4", so I'm gonna have to buy some from Lowes/etc.

go to any hardware or parts store that has bolts and they should have a display rack with the different sizes that you can screw your screw into to find the correct one.

Oxford Lumber might be a better choice than Lowe's or Home Depot.
They seem to have more "loose" nuts and bolts.

Id go to an Ace hardware or True Value and buy stainless, Then I'd color it black with a magic marker. An maybe some loctite so you don't loose it.
