I have a QAD rest on my bow that is less than month old and I have already had to replace the Felton it. Now it is thinned out out and my FMJ arrows squeak where the Easton writing is on the shaft. I just replaced the felt last week so I put a small strip of Gorilla tape on it for now which has quieted the sound some. Any suggestions?

Go to Hobby Lobby and buy a couple of sheets of adhesive backed felt. Cut a piece wide enough to cover the "V" maybe about 1/2" wide and 1.5 to 2" long. Stick it on, then cover the posts with heat shrink. I've yet to wear that out.

You can see it a little bit in this pic:

Isn't this a timing issue? Maybe more tension on the QAD cord?

Actually I thinks it's from the material used on the FMJ's, my other arrows don't make the noise and it only happens when the part of the arrow that has the Easton logo on it passes over the rest.

My deep six FMj's used to tear the felt on my limb driver pro V, but I tightened the cord to make it fall away faster and now they don't.

I assume it's the same

I had a QAD on my hoyt and have a bunch of their factory cut felt. Free to a good home in Montgomery
