Brand New for $375. Excited for it to get here, at that price I couldn't resist it. Anyone have this bow? Was eyeing it at the shop the other day.

Wow, great price; I've heard good things about it... I'm still shooting the Carnage...

Took a break from the woods long enough to go to the local shop and have the draw length changed to my 28" and the peep placed exactly where I wanted it and then tied in place securely. Haven't had time to shoot it yet, but at the pro shop I hit a business card with it at 10 yards. I can tell you they sure have gotten better at putting the sight on in the right place than they were the last time I bought a new bow ha

Alright so just shot it about 30 times. Pretty accurate out of the box. Had to bring the rest to the right a touch. After that my 10 yard pin (plan on 10-20-30-40-50) put 3 in the bullseye twice. Ok, done. Next, 20 yard pin puts all 3 about 4-5" above the bullseye. I moved the pin itself as much as I could, and it's still 3" high. Here's what has me perplexed - shooting the 10 yard pin ( that is dead on at 10 yards) at 20 yards still leaves it 2-3" high. Any ideas? Guess I hadn't given thought to "muzzle rise" on a bow, is that a thing? Do I need to set it up 20-10-30-40-50?

don't shoot a 10 yard pin. today bows can shoot 25-30 yds with the 1st pin. 10yds should only be used to get on target and center shot.

No need for a pin under 20 yards. With a 5 pin sight I always went 25, 35, 45, 50 and 55. For years I hunted with a 2 pin sight with them set on 25 and 35 and killed the piss out of them out to 40 yards. At 40 I would aim at the top of the lungs with the 35. The bow I had that setup on shot 244fps. Life is much simpler since I went to a single adjustable pin. wink

That's kinda what I was finding out...guess this thing is quiet a bit faster than I'm used to. 25 sounds good. I found I was still high at 30 yards using the pin that was dead on at 10. Thing is I don't plan on shooting em much past 25. I probably would be just fine with 1 pin and knowing my drops. Prob what I need anyway.
