I am interested in getting contact information for Carney Hunting Club in North Baldwin County. I am familiar with the area and I know the club has a good lease size to member ratio. I do not know any members of the club so I need some help getting in contact with the leadership of the club to try to secure a spot for next season. Thanks for help in advance!

I know several members of Carney Club. It is a good club for sure. It's a bit pricey though if I recall correctly. Good luck.

If you get in, you will enjoy for sure. The requirements for bucks is 14" minimum inside and at least 4 points on one side. They shoot a bunch every year too. Turkey hunting is good as well.

Thanks for the info BamaGrad85. I grew up about 10 minutes from Carney Hunting Club. That area has always had some good bucks taken off that property for the area. It will probably be hard to get in Carney if you do not know any members which is the case with me but most all clubs that have really good deer hunting are a hard pull to get in.

Last I knew, dues were about $2500/yr.
Don't know who the president is now, but Robin Swift has had the lease ever since it left the Patterson family (which he was married into at the time).

I would like some info on this club too. Can you send a pm with any info? Do they have a camp house?

Yes, they have a very fine camphouse right on Patterson Lake with a nice skinning shed.
Unless it has changed, you don't really ask to be in Carney....you are asked to join. If, as RobertD said, they had an opening a month ago, that may be different now. It's been a little while since I talked to Robin or any of their members.

I hunted South Side a few years ago and yes it's a good club. Bear Creek separates it from Carney I believe. The deer & turkeys are there for sure. and yes South Side is much cheaper.
