Well in the last week I've gone from getting great deer pics to about a hundred pics of raccoons. 8or ten big fat ones at a time. Even some of coons chasing off the few deer still coming in. I mean PILES of racoons! Anyone know what do do with these little monsters. I can't really sit there all day and night with a .22.

And cows! One of my best feeders /cams was torn all apart with cow chit everywhere. The cows have pretty well marked everywhere they have been and they have been everywhere! Just eating all my corn and trampling bedding areas. They aren't ear tagged and I don't know who they belong too. They are seriously messing up my hunting strategy. Can I shoot these stupid things? Any effective way to run them off?

Get the law involved regarding the cows. They belong to someone, and if you go to blasting it will cost you.

Get a trapper involved for the raccoons.

Dog proof coon traps. Any brand. They are cheap and very efficient. Set as many as you can the first night and the ones that don't get caught will usually wise up

When resources get low for the cattle and horse owners down close to our club in Perry co.They will sometimes turn their livestock loose and let them roam to feed. They have done it so many times in the last few yeras that here is no way the stock is getting out of their property that much and it always happens late in the season. One year we had a mule on our property and it was feeding on a greenfield with a doe.One of our guys shot the doe and dropped it.The mule just turned and looked at the dead doe then kept on feeding.

Actually, the Rural Crime Task Force does have the resources to handle that. It will probably not be them, per-say. But, they can get it done if the cattle are running free-range illegally.

Follow the trails the cows come in on and you'll know who's cows they are. Coons on the other hand, well there are two choices. Stop feeding and they will leave for the most part, or kill them all.

Cows are really expensive right now at the market, surely someone didn't just let their livestock loose. Is their neighbors with a fence down?
I suffer the same problem with coons. I'm gonna get one of them feeders that coons can't get into soon.

They use to turn there cows loose every year on our place in Dallas county. After a couple years of it one of our Cajuns got tired of it. Black guy stopped a member a week or so later asking if they were on our property. Needless to say after that they miraculously never got out again.

Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!
