Looking into purchasing a new scope without breaking the bank. Who has an opinion of the Nikon ProStaff 3-9 x 40 Black Matte Riflescope (BDC) with Lifetime Warranty?

I've got several of them. Good scopes for the money IMO. I like the 40 mm scope too. I like the scope to set low on the rifle. Get a better cheek weld that way. I use my binos to ID my target so as long as I can see crosshairs at dark, I'm good.
I love the BDC reticle.

I'm looking at the 3X9-50 too. wal-mart is your best buy on either . pay the picture no mind . it says BDC but it's not . 3x9x50 3x9x40

Ive always used nikons and like them but the BDC I bought I do not care for. Like mentioned too much stuff in the way especially at low light.
