Got a 4812 grinder and replaced the gasket on the transmission. How much oil, what weight and how do you check it. Hobart is no help. They said they only send technicians out to work on them and refuse to even tell how much or what kind goes in it. No manual info available with this info either.

No clue. I know you'll have to use food grade oil, and can only imagine that you'd have to call a specialty/industrial appliance place to find out your answer.
