In New Orleans last nite, several hundred in attendance. Gang gun fight broke out 17 shot. Animals , Last week a blk guy was dragging a woman down a street. A white Tulane medical student stopped his car and attempted to help the lady. The thug shot him in stomach and attempted to rob him. When the thug found out he had no money he attempted to shoot the student twice in the head. the animals gun jammed twice. This was all seen on a crime camera. He is in jail now.
If anyone thinks this city is safe they are crazy.

And I got to go to that hell hole of a chocolate city for my sales mtg in late Jan. I think I'll just stay in the hotel this trip instead of whooping it up on rue bourbon st like I used to. Damn that place

It kills me how people blame whites , they say its raceist to be scared when a blk youth approaches you. They wont admit these people are animals just like the terrorists. In fact they are terrorizing the elderly . More need to be gunned down like the animals they are, they don't hesitate to shoot innocents.

NO uses to be a great city that I visited often and had friends there. All of my friends have moved out of the city because the violence is so bad. If you're going, leave your wife and kids at home.

How long ago was it a great city? I grew up in the late 80s early 90s hanging out downtown for mardi gras and new years and it was a chitholeintheswamp then.

I was there in the late seventies Casey...and almost got shot down there myself.

I lived in Meterie for around 1 1/2 months before heading back to Texas as It was such a cesspool of violent crime, IMO.

Was in NOLA back in July. Only went because my daughter wanted to go. I used to live in Jennings, La. back in the early 1980s'. It was pretty trashy. Homeless people lying asleep on the sidewalks everywhere. Trash on the streets everywhere. Does the city ever pave over the potholes? I guess Ray Nagin got his way and made it "Chocolate City" again.

I don't know anyone that lives there or why anyone would want to.

The wife and I were in Metairie last week for family members funeral and she wanted to go to nawlins Saturday morning to see the sites. I said hail naw because I only brought 2 pistols.

Like New York City... and many other larger US cities, you have liberals running the elected government and tourism, families coming to NO has decreased considerably as the crime rates have gone up. Unless the crime rate drops, NO will continue to be a lawless city and it will die a slow death. The elected leaders are the ones that promises the most in government benefits and plays the victim and race cards.

There's a culture there that some people have that goes against every self-responsibility belief that made this country great and some of NO's ppl believe that government should house, feed, clothe them and pay for all healthcare for them as they pump out more welfare (babies) recipients and future killers and gang members. It's a bad chain and it's the white people's fault!

As for my family and me... No going to NO until crime is cleaned up like Giuliani did NY City. Which, btw, everything Giuliani did to clean up NYC, the new liberal leadership is undoing.
