The new current version is $159 at Tackle Warehouse.
The are excellent reels. I have 3 first gen Revo Inshores I have been using for years for bass, redfish and specks. I like not needing to change when I go inshore saltwater. Great drag. No problmes at all.

I have a Revo STX and I don't care for it. All of my other reels are quantum smokes or kvds. I think they are a much better reel.

Get a Shimano curado, about $100 and will last forever. I do have several Revo's and they have held up well but not like a curado.

What ben2 said. Curados are kinda like the old Lews BB1's. They'll theow anything a long way and seem to last forever. But I do have a couple revo's with no complaints.

I have several Revos and they're dependable. That FFO-tackle site Perch posted also is good for some deals on lures, like if you want a 100-count bag of 7-inch PowerBait worms or something.

Tough to beat a Curado, though. They're good stuff. I have some of the first ones.

Speaking of Shimano, if any of y'all are interested in a left-hand retrieve Calcutta NIB -- this is an old model, 15-plus yrs old, excellent condition -- I have one for sale.

Old original curados for me. I just keep rebuilding as needed. I think I have 16 of them.

When you say original curados, you talking about the larger green ones?
