Shoot what's best for the herd in general or what the herd can handle in kills.
Nothing is wrong with wanting to shoot mature bucks only and it's fine to shoot immature bucks too according to your mgmt. plan.
That buck looks very mature... but who cares? Congrats on your kill and I am happy for you. Thumbs up.

Hey, it don't matter one bit what others think. You got to put that rule in place now, and apply it the rest of your life. Things are much easier when you live by that rule (and others). Congrats on the buck!

If Shane would've called me, I'd a helped him drag that sucker out and gut it! Congrats buddy! And hell, for our area that deer may be mature!  lol thanks john and i would do the same for you.
