I feel confident Bart also has a toilet in that house, he did not want to make y'all too envious.

Do you just open the canned food and sit it on the wire rack and warm it up in the can?

That's a apple pie from Jack's! grin

I stock the pantry every year with caned food. Chilli and spaghetti with meatballs are great on really cold days! popcorn

Sometimes I look out the window to see if a deer is out there! grin [img:center]http://[/img]

It kind of looks like something that a queer hunter might use but I don't let them get close to my shooting house!

How do you vent it? My grandpa, when he was living fixed up a shooting house the same way. He would go sit in that box stand for hours and be warm and toasty. The only problem is he wanted to sleep all the time. His face would be all red every weekend when we were hunting and all he would want to do is sleep all day. When we would get back from the club it would last into Mon and sometimes Tues and the rest of the week he would be fine. Come the weekend though he could barely keep his eyes open again.

He wasn't the lazy type and was a go getter until the day he died. I have no doubt in my mind that the fumes from that little propane stove was affecting him.

Red flushed face is a symptom of carbon monoxide poisoning ...

Yes, I make sure I buy the easy open cans and use my gloves to pour it into a styrofoam plate or bowl. I keep plastic bags for the trash and bring everything out with me.
I just enjoy watching deer.

I know a guy who has a shooting house with a urinal. He has a 4" piece of PVC with a screw in plug to keep it from smelling. He reduced that down to a 1" pvc line and ran it down the stand (it is elevated about 15'. He dug a hole 4 feet deep and filled it with gravel and sand. The pipe ends about 1 foot under ground. No smell or mess.

I just sent him the picture of Barts setup. I am sure he is planning on adding the heater and cooktop to his house.

My father in law had a similar urinal in every shooting house he made. He used a large funnel with a 1" pvc pipe attached. He put the bottom in the ground with gravel and sand too. We never had a smell.

For heat, he used a 2 brick house heater with a outdoor grill propane tank. He had a regulator on it too. Always worked great.

I have a buddy heater that I use when I take my kids with me. Otherwise, I don't take any heater with me.

I believe buddy heaters are safe for indoor use, that's what I'd go with

It's a radiant style heater, therefore safe for indoor use.Had it been an open flame heater, you would have carbon monoxide hazards.

Anything worth doing, is worth doing right, or it's not worth doing at all!
