The binos have a tendency to make them look bigger. I had a brief side profile view then the rest of my judgement to shoot or not to shoot was a straight on view. He caught my wind at 75 yards out so he went straight from walking right towards me to high alert. That expedited my decision to shoot. I wish I had time to see he was broke up. I'd have him the pass because this farm does have bigger deer. It's a gamble to pass a bird in hand or wait on the one in the bushes.
