Set up in the same spot as yesterday evening. Already donated a pint of blood to the local skeeter population.

I'm here in hardwood bottom between a field and cutover. About 40 min late, but I'm here. I think this is the muggiest I have ever hunted. Sweat is pouring. Good luck all!

This weather has got to go. It's pissing me off! I'm sitting on a hardwood ridge in Georgia this morning, they ought to start gobbling here soon.

In a hardwood swamp. Pinch point between a big creek and a marshy duck pond. Squirrels are plentiful!

I've seen two so far. It was so thick I couldn't tell what they were and they were gone too quick to get glass on.

Saw two fawns, was waiting on momma to show up, all the sudden it sounded like the neighbors were running through the woods with leaf blowers. No idea what was going on, but I garuntee there aren't any deer around there now.

Heading out tomorrow with a friend to some land that hasn't been hunted yet this year. Maybe I'll get lucky.

Me and a couple of buddies are swatting it out on some corps land. Skeeters tore me up on walk in but thank God for thermacell. Had this trip planned for a while so we are gonna try and stick it out. 1 doe and 3 hogs seen between us so far. Hoping for a shot on anything that moves. Acorns dropping everywhere and we saw a lot of pig sign. There's not many places prettier than these hardwoods. Good luck and be safe.

Saw a big nannerhead about 9:30 70 yards away. Fixing to head in after I grab a bite. Been zeroing a rifle for my nephew to use next weekend.

Sitting a edge of hardwoods and 5-6 year cutover. Dirt bike trail coming out of thick stuff. Acorns laying everywhere like a deer buffet. Did run one off getting in here. Maybe they will come back. Good luck all! Be safe

Set up in the same spot as the previous two sits. Just as I pulled my bow up I had a button head come in and feed on acorns for about 20 minutes.

Hang in there Furflyin, the weekend is almost here, unless you've got to work. If you do, that would truly suck. grin

When I was working today I could hear what sounded like thousands of acorns hitting the trailers around the farm with every big gust of wind that came through. This weekend would be a good one to find your best oak trees and hunt them, methinks. Hope y'all get one, I'll be out somewhere up a tree come Sunday.

Made it across the road from the house. Sitting on a greenfield in the back corner of a sage field.

Had one fawn come out and feed for an hour. Maybe something better will show up soon.

What part of Monroe?

Anything worth doing, is worth doing right, or it's not worth doing at all!

Right off 84. I'm not super familiar with the area, down here hunting with a buddy. I saw a fawn and he broke his bow cherry on an Alabama 11 point. Aka, a spike. Tomorrow evening and Sunday should be jam up with this front coming through
