Hunting Bankhead National Forest this morning. Set is the same as yesterday afternoon, in between a bluff an and cut over with white oaks raining down. Good luck y'all.
It is hard to kill or catch anything sitting on the couch!

I'm trying the interstate stand this morning. Hopefully something comes through here. I'm beginning to get frustrated!
The secret to a long marriage is to keep on dating, just as you did before marriage. We have "date night" once a week. Hers is Saturday, mine is Thursday.
The only time a married woman gives those is if your not married to them!

Sitting 23' up in a mixture of pines and oaks butting up against a 4 yr old cutover. Giving food plots a rest since youth hunt is coming up, nothing but a few squirrels and some geese over head so far.
Elite Omnia, Easton FMJ, Axcel Landslyde 5 pin slider.

BUSTED!!!! Doe quickly walked across my shooting lane on my left side into some thick stuff in front of me just as i could see her ab to get in my shooting lane to my right which is downwind of me since weather.com app lied to me again this morning she stopped and put that nose in the air, a few more steps and i could have thumped her at 30 yards!!! She took off up the trail into the pine thicket screamin 6-8 times for all of creation to here!!!! Should i give it an hour or take my butt home???? Just keep sitting! A bad day in the woods is always better than a good day at work......just ask Furflyin.

Something to make you laugh.......... Got my Garmin Alpha unit yesterday. For those who don't know, it's a training shock collar for a dog. I got it all charged up and decided to try it out on myself first before starting to train Otis with it.....just so I would know what it was doing to him. It has different strengths of correction, or shock if you want to call it that, from 1-18. I turned everything to 1 and even double checked it. I’m still not sure what happened. Maybe when I turned the collar on and it came online it triggered some different presets or maybe I bumped the touch screen accidentally, not sure……but whatever in the hell happened…..I held it in my hand and hit myself with a 12 out of 18 right out of the gate. Let me just say….that’s startling when you’re expecting a 1 and sends a jolt all the way to your elbow. I quickly threw the damn thing down and my first thought was “Holy Chit!!! That’s a 1!!!!!”
