I've always taken mine off.....I guess in my mind less weight seems like a plus, but I don't know that I've ever shot it with the quiver on to know which way I shoot better.
I could definitely see it being a plus to have additional arrows handy.

Mine comes right off when I'm done climbing, I've got an attachment on my climber to snap it right in

I detach my and tie it to the tree. I don't want my arrows to hit anything when I'm moving my bow. Also, I can shoot a wide area behind my tree with my quiver off.

I always had a leather boot string tied to my quiver, when I got up I took quiver off of my bow and tied the quiver to the right side of my stand with the fletching up. I was so used to this, I could grab another arrow without looking.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I shot at 2 bucks that day...Third one runs right too me as I was getting another arrow out...BIG 10...wound up running thru after a doe and I couldn't stop him to shoot, wound up killing the second deer in a big 9 point... I had a pretty good day...I keep my quiver real close and easy for access just in case... Oh and the one I shaved belly hair on was a big tall 8 pointer...Some Hunts you never forget...

I use an old school kwikee kwiver and a summit climber. I screwed a second quiver mounting bracket to the front rail of the top section of the stand. Quiver comes off the bow and is stored on the front of the stand in easy reach. Bow is stored in a third hand bow holder.

I drilled a hole in my quiver and screwed some rubber coated hooks in it to hang stuff on I did mine on the right side though...Bow in a hanger on the left and 42 arrows on the right.... No Mercy...
