What's your preference: shooting with your quiver attached or detached? I've been seeing a few pics from treestands with quivers attached. I always detach mine....thought it was the thing to do.

I've gone both ways, although I just ordered a new Hoyt with the two piece quiver that stays attached. I like it attached because I can quickly access another arrow if need be.

Definitely seems much more convenient if it doesn't affect the shot.

depends on the quiver. I think people take them off because the older ones create more sound. I have an AXT Carbon Helix with rubber washers and it makes no difference in sound on or off.

Sometimes depending on my setup I still take it off and put it in bag, but I have no problem shooting with it on.

I've always taken mine off.....I guess in my mind less weight seems like a plus, but I don't know that I've ever shot it with the quiver on to know which way I shoot better.

I could definitely see it being a plus to have additional arrows handy.

Mine comes right off when I'm done climbing, I've got an attachment on my climber to snap it right in

Detach if I'm hunting from a stand, and leave attached if hunting on the ground

I detach my and tie it to the tree. I don't want my arrows to hit anything when I'm moving my bow. Also, I can shoot a wide area behind my tree with my quiver off.
