How do you hike in with your stand and pack? I'm looking at getting a fairly light stand (M100u). I may replace the factory straps at some point. Do you just clip the backpack on the stand and go?

I was using the third hand archery straps and would just cinch the pack down to my stand.

I use a Gear Leech pack from Gameplan Gear it's got bungies built into the pack to attach it to your climber. They're on sale on sportsmans guide for like $28, best pack I've ever bought

I use a plain bungee strap to secure my pack to stand. I bought a set of the molle pack straps from Amazon las week, gonna try them on the viper first, If they work well I will get a set for my 100u

I just sit mine on the seat of my Viper, the way I've got it rigged I can just stuff my pack and heavier clothes that I don't walk in with in between the frame and back rest of the seat.

I wear a fanny pack with shoulder straps - can strap on a stand over it.

I wear a turkey vest with the game pouch removed so all my stuff is in the front pockets.

I wear a big back pack with all my clothes in it and I strap my stand tight to the backpack with two of the cinch straps that come with summit stands.

I also just attach it with normal bungee straps. I use the same bungee to attach the pack to my stand when I'm up in the tree.

I have a gear pouch on my Lone Wolf and stash the rest in my pants cargo pockets. When I'm gunnin' and runnin' with a climber on my back, I go light.

I use a Blacks Creek All American pack. I hang the shoulder straps on the corners of my Ol' Man climber. For my lock-ons, I wear my pack and put my stand on over the pack.

I recently experimented wearing my backpack "backwards"...in front of my body with lone wolf alpha on my back. Balances everything out pretty well.

I do that plus I use the strap that came with my stand to secure my saddle bags. I went away from a pack and picked up the summit saddle bags.
