I was reading in a different thread that besides being a sissy, FurFlying shoots lefthanded like myself. Was just wandering how many on here shoot wrong handed. I do most things right handed but was taught to shoot that way by my full lefty father who didn't know better.

I'm left handed and shoot right handed, crazy thing is my dad is the exact opposite right handed and shoots left. All about eye dominance

I'm "blessed" with cross-dominant eyes, so I fling arrows left-handed. Thankfully I discovered my cross dominance before I started shooting arrows, so it doesn't feel "weird" to me to shoot a bow left handed. Guns, on the other hand, I'm still getting used to.

I'm all mixed up. Shoot guns left handed, bows right handed, when I played baseball I'd bat lefty but catch and throw right and I write right handed.

that's how I am. I shoot lefty, write righthanded (actually wrote with both when I was little but teachers told me I had to pick a hand and stick with it - didn't care which, but pick ONE). played baseball and pitched lefty but could bat either (was better lefty). on the rare occasion I play tennis, I play right handed

I shoot guns lefty, bows righty, I bat lefty, catch and throw lefty, and I write right handed

I'm left eye dominant. I shoot a bow and rifle left handed. Shoot a shotgun right handed with both eyes open because that's the way I was taught. Everything else right handed.

I swung a baseball bat LH, throw LH, shoot pool LH, kick LF, bowl LH, shoot a slingshot LH, shoot basketball LH, played golf LH, use a fork LH, weld LH, swing a hammer LH, drive LH, write LH like I want to, not with my paper turned sideways, but I drink my sweet tea with my right hand.

I was right handed until 2 years ago. Problem with my right eye forced me to go lefty. It's almost natural to me now. Wife bought me a pellet gun that helped me practice from the porch and get proficient with gun. Had just got excited about traditional archery when it happened. Spent a lot of time in backyard shooting bow left handed. Still only comfortable to about 18-20 yds with recurve. Shoot a pistol right handed with left eye.

Eli is left handed but right eyed dominat. He shoots RH, throws and bats LH, writes LH and wants a compound bow for Christmas this year and it will be RH.

Ill tell ya this, its addicting and a whole lot more accomplished feeling. Im comfortable out to 30 yards and 40 was about as far as I would shoot with my compound. I havent had a deer jump the string with my longbow. It is whisper quiet. Its not blazing fast but plenty fast enough. You add a 620 grain arrow in the mix and it is just nasty. I love it.

Any yall left handed boys want some high end modular recurves I can hook a brotha up.

Man I thought I was screwed being right handed but shooting lefty but y'all made me feel a lot better about myself. I strictly bowhunt, have for many years, but as far as traditional goes, I couldn't hit the ground in front of me. Ive tried but it always messed my compound form up so bad I quit. I'll stick with the training wheels.

I'm mainly left handed, but right eye dominant and my dad taught me to shoot guns right handed, so that's how I shoot all firearms. Shoot bow left handed and use left eye to aim. When I played ball, I threw left hand and batted right hand.

A psychologist said I was center brained, and that I would recover from a head injury quicker than someone who was right or left brained. Don't know if that's true or not, but found it interesting.
