I killed 4 behind the house and one decent 7 pt. I killed a 180 3/8 buck in kentucky in early September and went home last weekend to Georgia and shot an ol doe with the smoke pole. I would say my short season was quite successful. Gone hate missing duck season but I should be home in time to kill a few thunderchickens.

I'm in a hardwood flat with a beaver pond to my back at the start of a choke point between a large field and the pond. Sat this spot twice last year and saw a 6, 8 and an old 9pt.
