He's one of those night owls but he may move in daylight hours a time or 2 and I hope you are there when he does.

Do your best to attract the does and don't hunt him until the rut is my honest answer, that old warrior ain't moving during the day if he starts feeling any pressure

98. I would use everything, and most important dont be scared of trying something both inside and outside the box. By this I mean obviously I would get some trophy rock out immediately. Sounds like your neighbor has alraady beat you to the punch. Butuse them a lot more smarter, use them to recruit. Put them on your boundaries. Then slowly move them inside your property. We do this and it has worked, not on a buck yet but this worked on a trophy doe we hunted last year. Start mocking everytime you can, it aint gonna hurt anything. Miss October, Miss Novemner, code blue, tinks, buck bomb the middle of your property like its Hiroshima. You gotta make this buck want to be on your land and doing nothing aint gonna get him in. Always pay attention to the wind, always, even if it means not even going to your land if its not right. Good luck man and let us know when you give him a dirt nap! Nothing we like more than recruiting a neighbors buck!

I agree with others, it is all about the pressure. Don't pressure him until the rut kicks in. Then get after it as hard as you can. Find another spot to hunt you some meat until the rut starts full bore. No guarantees on a hoss like that, but that will give you your best chance. Let your neighbors apply the pressure and hope he doesn't do something stupid until your ready.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

With nothing but cow pastures and strips of woods, I'd hunt the piss outta him as long as the wind was right. It sounds like the deer is living on your neighbor and visits from time to time. Unless you sit there with the wind blowing to him, it sounds like a place that's easy to get in and out of quietly and unnoticed. Waiting on the rut could be too late due to your neighbor killing him, or pushing him to the next county. Now that you know he's there, I sure wouldn't be checking that camera day in day out like I'm sure you want to. Let him be unless you plan to hunt him.
This is just my opinion from what your place sounds like. Without anyone seeing it, I think it's just a WAG. Good luck! He's a goodun!

Corn. Fence cows out of feed stations. Keep it full feeding liberally.

Serious. I'd set up a few. And is hunt legally a distance from them/out of sight.

I beleive I wpuld go crazy to if someone got him but yourself.the best thing that works for me is ricebran 50 pounds with a150 pounds of corn stired up.then pour 2cans of grage koolaid on top.you may think im pulling your leg but the deer cant help thereselfs .pour it directly on the ground .unless you all ready have a feeder there dont go putting one there he will not return if anything new appears.this being said I had a monster9 pointer and several other shooter bucks appear on my land 4to5years ago,but this was in september.I went and bought a 30 spin feeder put it outthere to try to get them in a daylight pattern .the deer which I had on camera every night just vanished.

...and to add to what I said earlier, stay quiet about it to you neighbors. The more you talk about it the harder they will try also to get him on their property. It also will get the poachers attention. I'd really hate to see that one go down like that.

To all these folks yelling corn, rice brand and other stuff...... Are y'all telling him to pour it out and sit on it?? Whatever you do man, do it right. It would haunt me forever to kill one like that, put him on the wall, and have to think how I killed him illegally. With 140 acres of cow pastures, I don't see how you could keep it out of sight, yet it benefit you. Maybe I'm wrong, but every person that is around you and knows this deer is there is probably going to be putting corn, rice brand, peanut butter, swamp donkey, you name it out. Just let them push him out on you. Hunt smart and attempt to kill him legally. If there's one like that there, more than likely that area will produce another one in the future. Hopefully you kill him, but if you don't it's not the end of the world. A lot of pressure on you while hunting is a good way to get burned out!!!

Id quit hunting and start corning the heck out of it. Set the trail cam on it. Check it maybe every two or three weeks. If you pull him back over to you, the trail cam will let you know what time and how often. Other than that your best chance is rut. Whatever you do, dont booger it up by shooting anything else or walking around looking for his sign. Nothing really is gauranteed to pull him to you but this is what i would do. After ole neighbor pressures him out he ought to be right in your lap.

Very nice deer btw.

I would have a gay dove shoot on opposite side you hunt. Have 575 dozen arrows ready to sling at deer you are after. Let the beagles, walkers, or bluetick dogs runit out of the sanctuary. If that don't work throw out five truckloads of corn and hunt 101 yards down wind and don't shoot nothing, but that one deer you are after. Until the neighbors call the law on you for hunting baited plot.

Newbs..... Yes, the Clorox stump. You take 1.3 gallons of Clorox and pour onto said stump inside of your deer sanctuary. Make sure you only use 1.3 gallons as anything less or more will mess with the chemical breakdown that happens. The deer will absolutely destroy this area within 3-37 days. I call it the 'Big Buck Clorox Detox'.
