Has anyone here ever took there kid to a youth hunt in Kentucky on one of the WMA's? If so how does it work? I figure u have to check in and such but do you hunt where you want to or do they give you an area? Any info would be appreciated.

Idk about the specifics, but I know of one that is non quota, that I'm pretty sure I could put yall on a good deer, if your child can shoot well enough to cover some ground.

Thanks Atoler......we are going to Big river wma this weekend but was just wondering how it works as far as check ins and hunt locations and safety. I have some spots I want to hunt with my son that I bow hunted in september (if we get to hunt where we want)!
