I know a liberal that doesn't trust the police or gun owners.
So I posted that video on his page asking him if he wanted to be pointman on the door to door searches. Never did hear back from him..

There are so many guns in this nation that total gun control is next to impossible.
Not to mention there are guns that don't even technically exist like built AKs & 80% guns like 1911s and AR15s completely without serial numbers.
There is also a certain subset of gunowners who are just itching for another Katrina style grab so they and their militias can start the next civil war.

The same people that say "Black Lives Matter" and that we shouldn't trust police, are the same people that say we should trust police to protect us, and that we shouldn't have guns. Somebody splain that one to me.

That has pretty much been my point. The debate about the constitutionality or usefulness is moot because there is no way to effectively do it at this point. That genie is out of the bottle with no way to stuff it back in. Way too many guns already out there. Kind of like if the cavemen wanted to institute rock control.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Left unchecked, the democrats will eventually make background checks so difficult that it will be come too much trouble or too expensive to go thru the process. Black market guns will be the new bullion.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

Can't be done, logically .

If they just get half the people to give up their guns it will make their goal easier to attain. There are a bunch of gun owners who would give up their weapons under the right circumstances. I bet there are even a bunch of people who claim they would fight to the death that would give them up if faced with that possibility. All the guns don't have to be confiscated to give the government an insurmountable edge.

Thank the lord our founding fathers...nor anyone serving our country in the last ten years of war that has children shared that sentiment.

Many are married with children that they leave for the length of their tours overseas. It seemed that 1/2 the people I served with were married with children.

That always seemed the toughest hardship to me...the guys leaving their wifes and kids.

But thank the lord we as Americans have many brave people who make that sacrifice every year. Heres to hoping that we always will.

Especially if it meant you'd probably get killed in the process.

It's why you have to play it smart. Never let someone else dictate when/where you have your battles.
