I chuckle because I thought my new wife was the worst but I learned "UP" is whatever is closest to where it last was. I have learned to find things in places that make absolutely no sense to me but are perfectly logical to their species.
One day the right woman will come along and the next thing you know you'll be wearing her underwear!

Sounds like mine, the next house we buy,I'm gonna make sure, there's a room right next to the front door, that way as soon as her and my 9yr old step daughter walk in ,they can throw all their chit in it, (purse,keys,phone,bookbag,shoes...etc.....)that way when they can't find their stuff the next morning, they can go look in the room!!

Mine doesn't touch my "camo and ammo". If she needs it moved she'll tell me to move it. If it gets lost it's on me.

Mine doesn't touch my "camo and ammo". If she needs it moved she'll tell me to move it. If it gets lost it's on me. Seems simple enough. Does it actually work? Mine used to say You need to move this! and hold it up to show it to me as she was moving it to the garage.

If I weren't at home and she needed to move something , she would move it to an obvious place and tell me when I came through the door. Seriously.

Mine does the same thing.
The worst one was when she lost 6 large strings of turkey spurs. I don't get sentimental about a lot of posessions but I flew off the handle over that. It's taken me a lifetime to put those together and they were lost because she didn't want them hanging where I had them. I finally found them after she and I tore the house apart for two solid days. She had stuck them in a piece of furniture she keeps bed sheets in. I don't believe I have ever been so mad in my life.

Simple solution guys.
Simply pick up here purse shoes and other items and put them somewhere that makes no sense. When she starts looking for her stuff, she will probably find yours first. Once she returns your stuff you can retrieve hers and give it back to her.

Was It this website where the guy had a theead about hiding his wife's shoes everytime he found them laying out? It seems like he had been doing it for a month or two, and she hadn't even noticed that he had hid 15 or so pairs. Probably josh101 his wife has more shoes than five women could wear in their life's.
Would walk over a naked woman to get to a gobblin turkey!

OK I haver a simple solution to the problem- put your own damn stuff up. I learned as a kid that if I left stuff out, I was going to lose it to mostly brothers and sister, their friends who came over or random strangers off the street. If I lose it it is my fault and then I have to punish my self by buying s new thing a magiggy. Its not often that I lose expensive things, but pocket knives, hammers and screw drivers are top of the list. I also learned not to leave stuff in pants pockets thinking you will put those pants back on, No, if its worn once it is liable to go in the washing machine, which is hard on things like pocket watches and bill folds. My dad used to say that you should move every 5 years of so just so you can find stuff you put up. He also had a sign on the tool room,"If you use anything in this room, put it the hell back where you found it." Not that that worked but it made him feel better. I love my wife and after 44 years we have worked out most of the kinks so life runs fairly smoothly. One key is to not let little things derail the whole show. And if something is over a year old don't bring it back up. And always kiss her good night every night you are beside her.
Let us cross over the river and rest in the shade of the trees Stonewall Jackson Hug your loved ones often, Life is short even on its longest days. I don't see the glass as half full or half empty. I just finish it and order another.

My three kids must assume the statute of limitations expires around age 25. They have confessed to a string of petty thefts involving my tools, knives, camo, you name it. Payback has been fun. Seems like every time I help one of them move, I find more of my stuff. So I steal it back without saying a word. They are too afraid to ask about it because it would require confessing to taking it in the first place.

Bob Boykin is one of the funniest guys you will ever meet. He writes, "Stolen from Bob Boykin" on all the stuff that his kids and grandkids are notorious for borrowing and not returning. He says it may not get his stuff back but it will prick their conscience every time they open the lid on a cooler, tackle box, etc.

We lost my son's Kindle one time for a year and a half. I put it "up" and forgot where it was. The boy had gotten in trouble and we grounded him form all electronics for a week. I found it in the back of my sock drawer and forgot about it. When I found it, I remembered exactly when and why I put it "up".

I don't even look for stuff anymore. I know it's not going to be where I left it so I ask my wife where everything is. She always says "if you would put it where it belongs you would have to look for it...." I tell her "if you would leave my stuff alone I wouldn't have to look for it!!!"
