Try trapping the yotes there, or at least hunt them there. They are after the fawns now.

We keep planting them thinking that sooner or later we get this coyote population thing in check. After last season it looks like we have made some headway according to the past months trail camera pics.
So I would keep planting them plus a fruit tree will produce fruit in three years or so. Also we are going to plant some chestnut trees this spring. I don't know if coyotes would go to the work it would take to get the nut out of a partially opened husk without the risk of a mouth full of stickers. So this might be an option over more fruit trees.

the deer won't concentrate on one particular food source. they roam. natural browse to corn/grain feeder to fruit trees to other types of natural browse, on and on. what are you finding on the trees? was there a good amount of fruit and now there isn't?
we had an established 4 or 5 year old pear tree. we planted 8 new pear trees last year and the deer ate every pear from the new trees (except one that was surrounded by staking). they have now made their way to the persimmon trees.
maybe you have a high percentage of coyote that is keeping the deer out of the area.
are there other folks feeding near you? I don't know about others feeding. I'm pretty sure we've got of yotes.

Having yotes eat the fruit is just part of it. Coons get plenty of it too I imagine.

are you only getting pictures of coyote, no other nuisance animal?
Oh no, we've got a world record coon population, unfortunately.

Oh no, we've got a world record coon population, unfortunately. I too have a huge coon population you need to buy a few dog proof coon traps i put dog food an then spray em down with tuna oil every day ive had a coon im naming it PROJECT TURKEY lol im wanting to get them established again them coons cant resist dog food and tuna im tellin ya it works no more digging trap beds either drive your stake in and fill er up
Its better to sit in a stand and think about God, then to sit in church and think about hunting.

I killed a coyote and a doe on a pear tree Thursday morning. I get as many pics of coyotes and foxes as I do deer. Just shoot coyotes.

So I had the bright idea of taking 50 lbs of Apple to some hunting spots where I seen big deer at.boy was that a mistake instead of seeing deer the coyotes showed up all day and night in and out every few hours eating apple over 150 pics in a week and no bucks and very few does I learned a lesson keep your apples under your apple trees not in your honey hole .Going to go snare crazy on those yotes with apples bait when I get back in the woods I've had the same result on my apple and pear trees.
