I am looking for a pay dove hunt near Birmingham for a group of about 6. We've all hunted dove opening weekend for about 20 years now on top of chandler mountain in springville, but we just don't see them flying like we used to so we want to try something different. Any help is appreciated.

Are there not any public Dove fields? I searched and saw reference to one at Hollis WMA, but I couldn't find anything on it for this year. I don't suppose any ole field would meet regulations? They're pretty strict from my understanding.

There is one at Cahaba WMA every year. I can't say that it will be any good though. We have tried it weekend after opener and it was really bad. Don't think it's that good for opener either

The 21st is on a Monday. I'd be interested if you have a different field than the one you are shooting Sunday. There are too many numbers in your phone number or I'd call you.
