It is missing a Grade 8 bolt, nut, washers along with spacer sleeve in the bottom hole. That bolt/spacre setup is slightly longer than the top to allow the connection to be tight and secure while still allowing the top joint to swivel.

Other than that, it is correct.
The lift arms will rise to allow the mower to come up any higher if needed when going through a dip and the small amount of swivel in the top link allows the rear of the mower to float over slightly uneven ground.

This is what I was getting at. I liked the set up. It wouldn't dig in to anything. You controlled the height with the lift. Put it about 2 inches off the ground and take off. If you started up or down a hill the chain would lax and let the mower stay close to the ground all the time. It had a huge gear box on it. It was 6 ft and cut easier and put less of a strain than my 5 ft king kutter did.

You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.

I always tighten mine up so it's straight in the down position.

That makes sense. If it were to set it up that way, the linkage would have a good bit more pivot if it was needed. I will figure out what all size hardware I need this week. Thanks guys.
