is one debate away from being the front runner according to several polls. He may even pass the Donald by the end of the week.

I'm ready to see an actual debate of ideas. Not some scripted question and answer session where the moderators are the central figures. I'm glad Carson is doing well but I'm hoping to see more substance from all the candidates, going forward.

I believe the cycle of front runners is about to occur, like we saw in 2012. If the Donald slips and Carson goes to the front, I believe that will start the wave of momentum that will shift around until the field narrows a good deal. Hopefully when the narrowing begins a real conservative can withstand the attrition.

I hope it is Carson, Trump, and Cruz at the end. I hope 2 of those guys are on the ticket next Nov, with the other in a high cabinet position.

Those guys need to point out that all illegals of any race must leave, and that the illegals are disproportionately hurting young black males in this country. Turn the racist witch hunt on those that support keeping the illegals at the expense of young black Americans.

If Illegals are forced out who is hurt the most?
Rich white Americans. The ones that are getting rich on the backs of near slave labor.

Who stands to benefit the most if illegals are forced out?
Non rich folks.

Yeah prices of produce may increase for a little while, but some bright farmer will invent a machine to pick produce. Once the machines are working then the price of produce will drop more than today's prices. The people building the machines will make good money, the people operating the machines will make good money. American's all win.

Yes, that message needs to be given loud and clear. However, America as a whole is too soft to force the illegals to leave. Never gonna happen. Our own government for decades hasn't done what is necessary to stop the influx on the front end. No way they can get it done on the back end after they are here.

I disagree. I said several years ago that they would mostly self deport if a handful of states rolled up into a community with a dozen buses, filled them up and headed for the border. It would only take a little of this to get the word out. Sanctuary cities should be taken over by the National Guard and illegals rooted out. There again, word would spread to other sanctuary cities and they would start leaving. The worst of the worst might not leave peacefully but killing them would solve a problem for at least 2 countries.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

IF....based on my 46 years of observed history we as a nation are way too soft to ever roll up buses in any big city...I just don't see that "IF" happening. I dang sure needs to happen though!

Perhaps in some rural areas run by Aldeer folks! Maybe that would catch on.

Today I did something I have never done before... I actually donated to a political campaign. I whipped out the ole' Bass Pro Shops Credit card and donated to Mr. Carson's campaign.

I truly think that he is a man of principle, I think he is a wise, reasonable and pragmatic man. I also think that he can be a unifying force in America. Here is a man who has transcended race and who can inspire All Americans, not just African Americans. In my opinion he embodies what Dr. King spoke about in his "Dream" speech.

That's what it actually takes. Cold , hard cash. Men like Carson and Cruz could turn this country around if they get their message out and that takes money.

Raising money is key like Bill said. Your message has to be strong enough to convince people to give. Grassroots giving from regular people at $10-$100 at a time can make a large impact on a campaign. I plan on having my candidate selected by October 1st.

I donated to Carson's campaign right after the debate. First time I have donated to a political campaign in a long long time.I believe he is what this Nation needs right now.

You're going to get two on the ballot but unfortunately, one them is going to run as an independent and show his true colors.

Hint: His name doesn't start with the letter C.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

You boys inspired me...I just followed suit.

Irishguy: I agree with your assessment of him and, like you, this was the first time I've ever donated to a campaign of any kind. I've been holding out to see if he could seriously contend before I totally bought in, but I guess I can donate again after he's won the nomination...fingers crossed.

I truly have a good feeling about him, and hope he can make a charge once Trump's inexplicable run falters...again, fingers crossed. If I get the opportunity to vote for Carson it will be the first time in my life (I'm 32) to vote for a presidential candidate that I actually believe in...this lesser of two evils chit has gotten old, and has always made me a little nauseous.
