god forgive me but I would love to tell this m'fer to take off running and then I would pepper him with a 22.

An 18-year-old man killed a couple who stopped to help him on a Montana roadside Wednesday because their daughter "laughed" at him, an FBI agent said in court Thursday.

Jason Shane, 51, and Tana Shane, 47, died Wednesday following the shooting on an Indian reservation in the small town of Pryor, and their daughter, 26-year-old Jorah Shane, was shot in the back when she tried to run away, the woman's aunt, Ada Shane, told The Associated Press. Jesus Deniz, also known as Jesus Deniz Mendoza, of Worland, Wyo., told federal investigators he shot the three, who had stopped to help him because Jorah Shane laughed at him.

“Deniz told the interviewing agents that he shot the victims because he was getting tired of waiting around, and because the daughter laughed at him,” a court document submitted by federal authorities said. The FBI and Bureau of Indian Affairs are handling the investigation because the murders occurred on an Indian reservation and the victims were members of the Crow tribe. FBI agents say Deniz “admitted to shooting three people with a .22-caliber rifle and then driving away from the scene in the victims’ vehicle.” The family came to help Deniz, who had run out of gas, after Tana Shane spotted him on her way home and went to her house just 50 yards away to get her husband and daughter, according to the Billings Gazette.

But when the trio approached the suspect, Deniz “pointed a gun at them, and told them to get out of their car,” and then demanded money, the complaint states. When the couple said they had only change because they recently returned from a religious revival in Window Rock, Ariz., Deniz told them to “start walking,” the complaint says. Jorah Shane told investigators she heard gunshots and her mother telling her in Crow to run.

As she ran, she “felt blood running down her face,” which was the result of a bullet wound, according to the document.

“She heard another gunshot and felt a bullet hit her in the back,” the complaint says. Jorah Shane then watched helplessly as the suspect drove away in the family’s car, but her calls for help were heard by several people at the nearby St. Charles Mission School.

Deniz was nabbed 120 miles away near Meeteetse, Wyo., early Wednesday afternoon. He was being held in Park County, Wyo., pending an appearance at 3 p.m. Friday in front of U.S. Magistrate Judge Carolyn Ostby in Billings.

Jorah Shane, who has four sisters and two brothers, did not know her parents were dead before she went into surgery Wednesday night for the bullet lodged in her spine, according to the Gazette.

"Last night before she went in, she told everyone to go look for her mom, she's hiding in the field," Ada Shane told the newspaper.

Ada Shane said it was just like her brother and his wife to help a stranger.

On Wednesday morning, Tana Shane drove by a young man who said he had run out of gas on the road less than 50 yards from her home, Ada Shane said.

"Both my brother and sister-in-law have big hearts," she said. "They're always helping someone else."

But who prays for Satan? Who, in eighteen centuries, has had the common humanity to pray for the one sinner that needed it most?

This is why I don't stop to help people.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

What a terrible story.

Bound hand and foot, strapped into his vehicle, and left to dehydration / starvation. photos of his three victims placed in front of him to remember as he slowly fades away.

X5 I don't stop for no one I don't care how helpless they look. Call the law to help, it won't kill them to wait but it might kill me to stop and help. Sad truly sad.

I really hate that a lot of y'all feel this way. I understand it, but it saddens me. I stopped to help a carload of young women from Auburn with a flat tire on I-65. I didn't see a man among them when I passed. They were unloading clothes to get to the spare and looking at each other. By the time I turned around a got back their Dad had come back to help (he had to turn around and swap exits like I had.

I'm glad I stopped. The Dad was probably mid 50's and carrying about 100lbs more than he needed to. We split the job. He jacked it up and I took off the lugs and swapped to the spare and retightened. It was probably too hot for either of us to be screwing with it, but probably a lot safer the way we did it. I called my buddy at a tire place in Bay Minette to make sure he had a tire in case theirs wasn't fixable (it wasn't, they had ridden it too far).

I don't stop very often, normally only when I think they can't get it done by themselves.

My wife and children travel that road EVERY DAY. I keep her in a newer car, but anything can happen. I would want someone to help them if something happened. Shouldn't I help others if I feel that way?

If it's meant to be that I die for trying to help somebody, so be it. I'll go knowing I tried to do the right thing. It will be what it will be.

I don't always stop but I have and I am sure I will again. Like I keep saying, we are living In a culture of fear....so I am not surprised a lot of people won't help a stranger any more but it's too bad we are getting to that point.

That's awesome man. I usually stop too but I'm ready to return fire if needed. When I was a teenager I had a flat and was stopped to change it. I was about halfway finished and three older black women stopped and asked if I needed help. I will never forget how impressed I was with them and it has reminded me to return that kindness many times.
