AC870: Best one I ever killed was 120's. I killed a 225lb 10-point in a snow storm once. Have spent several nights in it. There has been better ones killed from it. House is big enough for 3. Several guys on here have hunted from it. It has two 16' leg post and the other side is built into a big water oak. There have been many a first deer, first buck, best buck killed out of it over the years. From does and every point buck from one horn to 12 points. I built it when I found out I was to be a dad. My daughter killed her first deer from it, my grand father was born in an old cabin 150 yards from it. There is an old church site, grave yard dating back to the 1700's and a 250+ year old white oak, 250 yards south of it. I am blessed that land has been in our family for 5 generations. That is awesome. I got to know one more thing. What do you call it. A stand like that has to have a name. There is a wet weather creek on the North side that does hold water most of the time. There are no hogs up here so it is all deer.
I have had cameras over it several years. Got some awesome pics just not the last couple of years.

On the distance I like to walk to my stands: “The first 100 yards is also the last 100 yards.”

Post didn't show. I was just going to ask if an awesome stand like that has a name? C.T.'s house I guess cause they ask, "Can I hunt your house." First one I ever built. When it cools off I wil post up some pics of it and others.
