My truck has pitted badly from brake dust and me being lazy? What works best? If anything? I know years ago Mothers and elbow grease did ok.

Depends on what type rims. Factory rims use some simple green or purple power degreaser with a synthetic wire brush. Polished alum use mothers or a similar type product. If u want to speed up the process get one of the attachments that go on a drill. Itll make polished alum look like chrome
