I'm gonna say it for the umpteenth time; Ohio St will be in the playoff almost every year Urban is there. Ease of schedule coupled with the fact he is one of, if not the best, coach in the game, insure it. I didn't expect him to win so soon but it just shows how good he is.

Ohio states schedule is: Virginia tech, Hawaii, northern Illinois, western Michigan, Indiana, Maryland, penn state, Rutgers, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan state, and Michigan.


I mean, which one of those teams will be in playoff contention....

And that is why in 2004 his undefeated team should have been playing USC instead of Oklahoma for the NC. Obviously the best 2 teams in the country that year.

They play the Same amount of Ranked Big 10 teams as Alabama plays.

What does it matter who they or anyone else has on their schedule? Are yall saying that to be the best team in the nation you have to play a tough schedule?

It doesn't hurt your chances when you play a weaker schedule and your starters are on the bench in the second half. Less injuries and more depth won't hurt come playoff time.

Are you a good fighter if you win at the bar downtown on Friday night? What if you win in the UFC?

The problem with the Big10 is that there's really only one or two teams that could beat you if you don't show up one week. In the SEC, you have to show up every week. Ole Miss beat Bama, Texas A&M beat AU, etc.

The Suckeyes will lose at least one game in the regular season. Both of their QB's are undisciplined and they have enough guys named Turdelle and LaFeces that will allow big plays on defense.

Weren't you one of the 99% of Auburn fans that made claim to Auburn having one of the toughest schedules ever created last year? I know every other Auburn fan I talked to last year rambled on and on about it.

Ohio State was the best team at the end of the year. They weren't the best team during the regular season. They lost to Virginia Tech AT HOME and Virginia Tech was a 6 win team I believe. Ohio State and FSU both had crappy regular seasons. TCU or Baylor would've been more deserving. When you compare the 1-loss teams, Ohio State had the worst loss BY FAR. Bama lost to a top-5 team. So did TCU.
