Sunflowers are gonna make I believe but it took 2 strands of electric fence and plenty of night patrols to get this far!

Already posted this pic in serious deer talk but figured i'd include it here also. I planted the wild bird seed mix from tractor supply 6/26. Most of what you see still standing is milo that hasn't matured yet. The millet had already seeded out and browned so I mowed what I could of the millet while trying to leave as much immature milo standing as possible. On the right of the pic I disced and scattered some wheat. Won't hunt it for about a month so things should be good!
