I have in the last few days started to have accuracy problems. It started out with one or two shots out of 40. Every time the shot is always high left. It has progessed to 4 of 10 now. I have checked timing on cams, arrow rest seems to be dropping, I changed to a different dozen arrows so thats not it and only thing I have found is the string stop is worn through and the string is actually hitting the end of the 3/8 rod. I have two stops ordered to see if that helps. Is there anything you can think of that I need to check?

Nope, sounds like you found your problem. Any visible damage to your string?

Not yet. It has serving on it where it contacts the stop. It was starting to get into my head making me think it was something I was doing wrong.

I wouldn't rule that out. But, that string stop being worn through will most definitely cause the nock to leave the string inconsistently.

Finally figured out what was causing my problem. I changed strings stop, tied some serving on for a kisser button replaced the string silencers that had came off of the string a few weeks ago and nothing seemed to help. I had about decided it was something I was doing wrong. Got to the ASA Cullman shoot and could not shoot over 4 arrows without at least one going high left. I started to just leave and not shoot the tournament but decided to shoot anyway in hopes that someone in my group could help me figure out what I was doing wrong. We started on target 12 and by target 20 I had shot two 5s and four 8s. Noone could see anything I was doing wrong or anything wrong with the bow. When we crossed the road to start on target #1 I noticed that the arrow had worn through the rubber dipped cover on my QAD rest"s launcher so I figured what the hell I cant do any worse by pulling it off so I did. The rubber dipping had came loose and bubbled up and it took a lot of shots before the arrow wore through enough that I could see the problem. Didn't shoot left or right the rest of the day and haven't had any more problems. So that has to be what it was. If any of you have rubber dipping on your arrow rest you better keep a close eye on it to make sure it doesn't cause accuracy problems for you.

Did you add that dip to your launcher?

Years ago I had a piece of heat shrink on one prong of my rest that was moving forward with the arrow on release. Drawing the next arrow put it back in place. It was a damn nightmare to find.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.
