Took hog home, started a 55 gal drum of water boiling.. another half a case or so later water was boiling. Shot the hog, gutted, washed, and proceeded to dip it. Well they musta left it in there too long cause the hair set on it and wouldnt come out. After a lot of cussing and more beers they went and bought a pack of disposable razors and started shaving it. After 2 more trips to the store a lot of time, more beers and $40 worth of disposable razors hog was ready to go on the automatic rotisserie he had just built.
Stuck it over the fire and for the first 4 hours all was good.. then the hog started to get done and came loose inside on the rotisserie and would make about a quarter turn and flop back down.
They ended up taking down part of the chainlink fence and wiring it around the hog to make it spin 360 again.

It was a hoot listening to him tell it and we always kidded him about shaving a hog.

If this was a true story.... Where did the parents go wrong with them people.. slap

My uncle was a thoroughbred trainer, but typically he kept his horses at one particular farm. During the Spring and Summer I worked at a couple of the training farms (where ever the horses were being kept for him and another trainer) primarily as a hot walker or whatever else crap (literally) job they needed done that day.

One afternoon my uncle calls and tells me that we are going to Louisiana Downs and could I meet him at the farm to get a couple of the horses loaded and that I would be riding with the horses, while he rode with the owner and we'd meet at the stables. Once we got the horses unloaded and in their stables, we piled into the guys really nice white 4-door Cadillac and headed out to one of the nicest restaurants that I had ever eaten at.

After a fantastic meal, we walk back to the car and we all jump in to head to the hotel. The guy tries for a minute or so to get the key into the ignition all the while cussing like a sailor, when my uncle finally speaks up and says, "I don't think this is your car." Sure enough, we'd gotten into the wrong white Cadillac - his was parked a few slots down.

My dad used to have a fish out lake years ago.A man driving a wood grained station wagon parked in the parking lot and told my dad he needed 100 pounds of catfish. We helped him catch the 100 pounds he wanted and put the fish in some old fish food sacks. They had a plastic liner and worked good to put fish in. Anyway he paid for the fish and left. A couple of weeks went by and we saw him park in the parking lot again. There was a terrible stench in the air. He got his pole and started fishing. We looked to see where the smell was coming from. He still had the bags of fish in the back of the station wagon. Dad asked him about the fish and he said he got drunk and forgot about them and also forgot to throw them out. This was in the summer with temperatures in the 80's and 90's.

Two roads diverged in the woods and I took the one with deep ruts, hills and mud.It may be bumpy but WHAT A RIDE!
