Total upfront cost: +- $12,500 - $14,000
Dental work: $1,500 - $3,000 (Teeth pulled (or just knock them out if you want to go on the cheap) and a good set of fitted dentures)
Outpatient drug rehab: $10,000 (hopefully, they can also deal with the anger issues).
Screening for STDs and other infectious diseases: $1,000

It's not that we have a lot, but I'd hate to give most of it up for a such a risky proposition. I was thinking more for the guys that aren't married - buy low, minimal upfront cost - granted the long term doesn't look good so you don't want to hold it too long - but when it doesn't work out you could tell all your friends you got laid. Besides, check out those handles for ears she has.
