But to clarify this problem was started by a few disgruntled members. They went to the landowner & tried to lease the property from under the club..Then the word got around. It had been sold off into pieces but the current owner has put most of the original Maytag holdings back together in the last several years. However, I thought they were referring to the sedgefield owned by Hinton in Dallas county and did not know that was for sale.

Our club borders it and it is amazing. I love to ride through there during hunting season and look at the deer. It's unbelievable how many deer are on that place and some Giants. Lamar is probably one of the richest people in that area so I'm sure if it was for sale he would've bought it. He owns roughly 8K acres that borders it also. At least that's how much I've been told.
